Trebes is well known for its port where holiday makers flock to hire boats to crawl through the little villages on the Canal du Midi. The local markets offer traditional quality produce, in season, grown locally and at reasonable prices. The Mediterranean resorts are 50 minutes away, where you can relax in the beach of Leucate plage or Gruissan. The Pyrenees are approximately 1 hour distance, again with excellent walking around the foothills and skiing in the winter. The beautiful city of Toulouse is an hour by car.
